I've been hearing lots of debates going on in the Bay Area (San Francisco Bay Area, California), about proposing to build casinos, and so far, the people of the Bay Area opposed the deal of making casinos because of crime rates/more trouble, stuff like that.

Where do you think is a perfect place to place a casino in your area of the your state if your city/county decides to build a casino in your area?

No where.

We already have Las Vegas as it is. If people wanted to gamble THAT badly, they'd drive there.

lol in my state? I think it would be totally stupid to try to build a casino in maryland hehe. But if they HAD to, then they should probably build it in Ocean City...it's the closest thing we've got to Vegas here. lol rolleyes.gif

I lived in Las vegas for 4 years, and moved 5 months ago... and i think that there could be another one, its just a normal big city, ok, not that big, but it has casinos and strip clubs. We still go to school and to the grocery store (even thought there are video macheines in there)...

i live in texas so therefore, casinos are outlawed but if they did build one, i would think they would build one in dallas or houston or austin. they are all busy cities. wink.gif

lots of crazy answers like las vegas... lemme bring u the facts.

Casinos are built to make money for the state. Let's say you live in a state like California, a state that suffering from a huge deficit. Now, pretend you are a casino manager. You want to build a casino somewhere, but where? Remember this term that opposers would most likely say if you built a casino next to the opposer's city: Not In My Backyard (NIMBY). Now think: where exactly is a perfect place to build a casino, and why?

(please don't make up an answer like Las Vegas. pretend you live in California)
