in girl's locker, i saw this post about wannabes, and the member is talking about how certain people try to dress like her and everything and then she just calls her a wannabe.

Now, i bought this shirt and i wore it to school and this other girl got pissed because she thinks i copied off her, what the heck?? Maybe i just happened to like it too and there are accidents like that since stores obviously make replicas of shirts so they can do BUSINESS. Also, i almost bought this other hoodie and then the week after i saw the same girl wearing it, if i actually bought it and wore it to school, she would've told everyone what a wannabe i am, and that's really not fair, and don't tell me that "life isn't fair" or all these cliches.

my point is that you can't just accuse of somebody of being a wannabe like that, just because they dress like you occasionally doesn't mean that they are doing it on purpose. When most people make assumptions about someone like that, they become hostile toward them and that's one cause for gossips/rumors, you can imagine how some people feel when they are called wannabes especially when they didn't even know what they did wrong.

So, just make your assumptions carefully.

and if it did happen i just owuldnt let it get to me..because it doesnt really matter to me that much if i have like the smae hsirt as someone =/

last year i had two shirts this really preppy girl had also, and we often wear them on the same day by accident, and people would say "If I were you, I will never wear that shirt again." People are way too sensitive and tend to overreact.

Feh.. Some people have clothes that look similar to mines or I have something similar to theirs. Personally I don't care, unless they glare and dog me the WHOLE time that I'm wearing something the same as theirs...

But a friend of mines really gets irritated when people have the same shoes as hers. Haha that's becuase she buys so many shoes and wants to be original.

I agree, companies make a whoel bunch of one type of shirt, shoe, dress, etc... So it's natural that there would be at least 10 other people who have the same shirt as you in your city.

I think she was offended cause they probably didn't want someone else having the same shirt she did.

Cause like, if some fag that everyone thought was a hobo was wearing the same 30 dollar shirt i was, i would be pissed, too. Does that make me a bad person?

Oh, I meant city lol. We don't have to see people to know. I saw a bunch of these shirts at hollister and I saw at least 4 other people at a mall wearing the same thing. ph34r.gif

you do have a point...

one day at school, i wore a shirt the same one that this one preppy girl was wearing, and she was like mad! really angry, and so she told everyone that i went into the store right after her and bought it, becaus e i wanted to be like her...wtf? i don't think so, i hate when people do that junk, it's so gay...and so the whole day she wore a sweater over her shirt so that i looked like the stupid one? well you know what she's dumb, and i could care less, it doesnt matter because she's just stuck up....atleast i didnt have anything to hide....

Never in my life should I have to deal with things that aren't even true about me. Neither should anyone. Crap, if they wear the same as you and get heated on it ... why do they care? It's just a piece of clothing... I mean.. in reality, who really cares.. right?

I'm trying not to EXPLOIT names now. That way, without a brand name, no one can diss you. I recently bought a Puma hoodie before many people wore Puma stuff... I was unique for a while... until people swarmed in with Puma stuff... Luckily, I can still wear it without being called a wannabe because people here are just nice like that.

I like plain white T's.

They're just pissed because they thought you weren't good enough to buy clothes at the same stores as them or have the same style.

Heh there are few people who are like that in my school _dry.gif especially the korean peoples ehhh... good thing i'm not like that. if they wear the same clothes as me, i dont get so suspicious on them. i just be like "oh cute nice clothes!" hehh and they notice that they have same clothes as me and just laugh it off. i dont mind as long as she doesn't copy me EVERY single day... lol.....

anyways... in my freshman year... I had Health class with this girl name Susan. who had a same name as me. And my health teacher called... well lets clear this out, susan is american...so i'll say american susan so it wont confuse you. anyways american susan got called during the attendance... and now it was my turn. she asked me "how do you say your name right? is it sun min? or sung min?" i told her it's "sung min, but you can call me Susan." and american susan thought i copied her name... _dry.gif and it was on rumors that i copied her name...wtf?! i mean i had name myself susan since 7th grade...gosh... I had to look at american susan's face cause it was like she was staring at me right after i told my teacher to call me susan. so she was looking at me like im a b*tch...

and she told her boyfriend and her boyfriend told her friends... i was like wtf?!.... so yeah but when i turned sophomore and my 2nd semester...she ignored me. which is a good thing cause i hated to see her looking at me like im a bad girl...gez.

i named myself susan because it meant "lily" and i love lilies...so i named myself susan... gosh that american susan...aiish.

i'd just go kick their ass if they called me a wannabe, haha but that wouldn't happen... if anything ppl copy me, but i wouldn't say anything like gossip or romours i have better things to talk about iwth my freinds... and i understand how the fashion world is like... stores copy stores...
