it's not too bad for your first
 you should make the bottom left picture a little brighter, and i'm not exactly sure what the white stuff is behind your blog, but it's a little too wide. if you used a div layer there, you might want to make it transparent. |

I like the pictures and the font, but I dont understand the arrows..? You did a really good job for your first one though!

The arrows are kind of random. Also, try to match your font colors with your whole layout because your cursor is red and black while your link color is green.
It's decent for your first. |
