Have you ever looked at a word long enough that you start going huh? Or even when you say a word multiple times until it starts sounding weird. I just did that with the word "sigh," i kept changing it cause i thought i spelled it wrong.

any of you done that?

If you say the economics for awhile, it start to sound weird. To the point where you don't know which pronunciation is right. You'd start thinking whether it's "e-co-nah-mics" or "e-cah-nah-mics".

You know what looks weird after a while? Well the obvious one; weird. That one takes like 5 seconds of my staring to confuse me. Is it weird or wierd? Or wired or werid or pelican. Words suck.

That's always happened to me. Just today, I stared at the word "bottom" and thought: "Wow, this word is weird. It's kind of like a palindrome...but it's not. How come I never noticed this before?"

blink.gif

And sometimes I find perfectly normal things surreal. Like, I'll think about me at a piano lesson, and think: "Oh my goodness, it's hard to believe my teacher is right in front of me right now!" Those are usually the times when I space out and say nothing. ><
