hrmm.. wells yea.. i meet my ex just two years ago, and she meet me uhh four years or so.. didnt really "meet" untill summer of 04, great memories.. started to hit it off during winterbreak.. now were apart cause of some drama caused by the parents of the girlfriend. so we decided to wait a little bit.. around 6 years to be exact.. meaning no dating no one else.. so you got any input on that..

6 years is too long. u cant vow to waste 6 years of ur life for someone who might change a lot. maybe u can have an on/off relationship? i mean.. u cant just put someone on hold for THAT long.

6 years is pretty long, don't just put your life on hold because of someone well unless you really love that person. maybe you can have an on off relatonship like bad_girl said

Whoa. 6 years?! that's long. I don't think you should be wasting your life on her because during these 6 years, she might change & your feelings won't be devoted to her anymore.

It's a long time to wait, but a sweet idea nonetheless. I hope it works out, although I'm a bit cynical about it.

maybe it could work. since sometimes you'll try your hardest to get over them and start liking other ppl but just find yourself coming out of those crushes still liking her.
but i like the on and off idea. since i know this couple that they have been on/off for 4-5 years. but then now they are totaly broken up because the guy doesnt like her anymore. and has moved on.. but the girl still cherishes the 4 years spent together... atleast you'll have the memories? really its all on preference. and how long your willing to wait or how much you really like them.

lala, thanks for all of your advices.. made me really think, but we're gonna wait, but iono for how long... we both feel the same for each other, and know the feeling will only grow strong, so im hoping its worth the wait..
