Fonts wont work, the fonts wont work

When i download a font to my computer then try to use it it doesent work cry.gif what do i do?

Did you extract it and move in into your fonts folder?

After its finished loading press extract all files.

Press Next, then Next again, Then press finish.

.. To extract it.

Then go to control panel, appearance and themes, then click fonts.

Go to file, install fonts, find the fonts you want, then press ok.



..WEll this is how i do it on windows XP.. not sure about the kind of computer you have.

First you download it.
Then you unzip it.
Then you move the font file to the FONTS folder.
Local Disck (C:)>Windows>Fonts.
And that shouldwork!

Um. What? Just Unzip it. It should pop-up after you downloaded it.

double click on the zipped file, then the extraction wizard should appear.

okay sorry! okay i tried it's on there, okay fine i'll edit it's still sating the same thing:
Extracting to "C:\WINDOWS\Fonts\Fonts\"
Use Path: yes Overlay Files: no
Error: Access is denied.
Cannot create C:\WINDOWS\Fonts\Fonts\Carpenter.TTF

edit// try downloading it from somewhere else.

you can make a new post if someone else has posted after you..don't post twice in a row. go check out the webdesign forum, one of the pinned topics is 'common fonts', you could get your font from one of those links.

u use winzip to unzip it.. it's donwloadable from somewhere.. i forgot tongue.gif
