i cant decide...plus its kinda a hard choice because first madonna been in the biz WAY longer than britney and has many hits. but i guess u can say they have about almost the same amount of fans.

i agree - neither. i don't think either one of them is that great anymore. yeah, they can sing and put on a show, but i can think of other singers who have more talent.

Hmm I don't listen to either's music, although I respect them for being so successful...I'm a null vote because it's hard to choose. Madonna paved the way and is more opinionated, although I like how Britney presents herself and I sort of feel bad for the media focusing so much attention on her now, although she's made some pretty stupid mistakes...like that wedding. She's only human, though.

I would have liked a both option...mostly both have inspired me musically. Madonna when I was younger and Britney now. I don't really give a crap about people saying awful stuff about Britney.
People only focus on Britney because she is famous and everyone wants to see her slip up. I believe she is doing what she does best and I appreciate her for that. She is a wonderful person and has problems that she is willing to admit and have help for. I am behind Britney all the way! |

And of course, Madonna. Britney doesn't even compare. Madonna was one of modern pop's frontiers, particularly for females in that genre. Now, I realize full well that she (Madonna) is far from original at this point, but in the early 80's, good lord. It was all about Madonna. |

I'd really have to go with Britney on this one, mostly because I never lived during Madonna's peak and never felt her impact on pop culture, but I was ripe for the picking during Britney's prime (err...when she first began to release albums).
