um, i went to sephora once, and i accidentally dropped something in my shopping bag i was carrying around. no one caught me, so i decided to do it again, and again. when i left the store, the security guy of sephora followed me for awhile... but i didnt know. he kept calling HEY! HEY! HEY! but i supposed it he was just the father of some children playing roughly in front my us (me and my friend). so we just kept walking. Richard (the sercurity guy) finally put his hand on my shoulder and dug thru all our stuff. and asked for a reciept.. and blah blah blah.. and he cussed at us right in front of everyone. i dont have time fot his bull$hit. and stuff like that. everyone was looking at us. we got detained and all that $hit. when we got detained, he looked through ALL of my stuff.. EVERYTHING. even my cellphone. he looked up numbers and even showed a worker there a pic i took of underoath's album art.. and he thought the youth these days were stupid. he told us he thought it was stupid and threw my cellphone against the wall! it nearly broke into bits. and yeah. i dont really want to explain the rest cause its just... boring. he spat at our feet too.. he got so paranoid that he took ALL of the things i bought that day. i even showed him all of my reciepts and again, he cussed me out. grr. mellow.gif i dont think he was allowed to do spit as us and throw all of my stuff away and the whole cellphone incident and spit at us....

wanna share a story of yours?

the thing is, her parents probably wouldn't cared because they were so mad already, and she would be afraid to mention it, that's how these people get away with harassments

harassment, definately... I think the security guard went on a power-trip and over-stepped his boundaries... you should have your parents file a formal complaint, since they won't take it seriously if you write it. I'm sorry to hear about it.

I've shoplifted before, only once, when I was in like 8th grade. My heart was pounding as if it was going to jump right out of my chest... the adrenaline can be addicting, but I felt so bad for it that I mailed in money with an apology letter... man I was so innocent then hehe happy.gif

i used to shoplift a lot. and i used to never get caught so i thought i was "invincible" in a way and continued to do it. then one day i DID get caught and it was horrible. they told me they were going to put me in jail and all this crap but luckily my parents came and got me. and we had to pay a big fine. it sucked. so now i don't do it anymore.

exactly, that's wrong, looking through your pictures like that, what was the point of that? you hid a stolen item in your cell?? _dry.gif even if you are young, you shouldn't have had to go though that, chances are, he's doing it to a lot of other people mad.gif

i've shoplifted a lot of times, it started when i was like 5 but that doesn't really count a lot of little kids do that, but then when i was like 10-11, i would steal like beanie babies from this hallmark and these 2 dollar itty bitty charms because they were overpriced, i stopped until i was lyk 15-16, then i stole thongs because they were cheap but i didn't want to have to waste money...but i stopped since my best friend got caught...it was all my fault...but even though they viewed the security tapes, i didn't get charged for anything when i was shop lifting too huh.gif

shoplifting gets me too paranoid, so i stopped =)

I use to think I was such a badass back in my High School days. My friends and I would skip school our senior year and head over to the mall where we would spend hours upon hours of shoplifting. we never once got caught. It was awesome. I stopped when my sister and I were try to shoplift and she got caught and I didnt. It sucked.

I used too shoplifted when i was 14-17 (hey at that age i'm broke) I would steal stuff from big department stores like 'Robinson's May, Macy, Nordstrom etc.. ' and i would also take from drug stores like 'sav-on, rite-aid' whatever i can get my hands on. I never had to buy film for my camera rolleyes.gif. And those items that i got is not small.. everyday after school me and my friends would head over to the mall with backpacks that are almost empty.. and by the time we go home.. i'ts filled with clothes and shoes. I got caught once at Claire's.. they didn't really do anything... i lied about my name and gave a fake address.. they never called my house.. i even gave them the real number.. _unsure.gif
I know it's bad.. that's y i don't do it anymore.. and besides.. if i do it now.. they'll throw me in jail if i get caught. laugh.gif

I accidently shoplifted in the 7th grade, 3 years back. I was with 2 of my friends at a CVS. It was during the winter so I had a big puffy jacket and lots of bags with projects and other random stuff in it. My hands were full and I needed to buy glitter pens for a project that was due the next day, so I picked one up but since my pockets were full and I was getting out some gum I put it in my jacket pocket without knowing. I left the store forgetting what I needed (very weird now that I think about it), and halfway down the block I realized it was in my pocket and I walked out without getting caught. But my guilt caught up with me. My good, school smart friend said go back to the store and pay for it, but my other layed back friend said it was an accident and you got away with it so just go home and forget about it. I ended up going back to the store. I went to the back of the store where no cameras were (I'm surprised they didn't catch me the first time) and took it out of my pocket and pretended I took it off the shelf. Then I payed for it and went home feeling a bit releaved. Phew I wrote like a story... biggrin.gif

Nope, never and I doubt I'll ever do it. I mean, I've thought about it, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it.
