blog positioning, i cant find the code..

i used to have this code but i dont remember anymore.. and i tried looking for it but i cant find it.. anyone know?

You can still do that with that code. margin-left & margin-top is what that's there for. Let's say you put 400 into margin-top.. it'd be as far as away from the left. so just play around with the numbers, and soon you'll get it. Use negative numbers if needed.

if you want an indefinite height, do this:

say you had 400px for the height. you would change it to 100%px. that should work =)

so i got my modules to be whre they should.. now my blog is gone.. l00k

and i still don`t knoe what that white bar is.. do u guys?

i just tried it with 600, still didnt show.. even worse, it messed up my modukle positioning wacko.gif

use the same code::

1.div code
2.module coding
3.close div </div>

and for the blog, you would do this::

1.div code
2.css and body coding
3.close div

that should work..

well for one, your blog isn't 500 px wide...and are you sure it's positioned right? -20 and 0 don't seem right.

ok i played around with the numbers.. changed the negative to positives.. still didnt work.. ahh i dint think this layout would be so difficult blink.gif

well one thing thats making it kind of hard to help you is because the codes are kind of scattered throughout your custom header..if possible could you clean it up a little? =)

Um ok your comment box size should be in the webstats also you have a extra </div> for the side stuff

actually take that stuff out i said and it should work now i just tested it and it works fine for me.

i have no clue what the white bar is but to move the banner up, do this:

<div style="margin-left:#px; margin-top:#px;">
<img src="IMAGE URL">
</div>

make sure you remove your image source from any other place that you have it in your code and put it in the place where i told you to.

There are codes to remove the xanga ad but we don't use them here. The ad is the way Xanga generates funds to keep the site up.

No problem hon the reason why you have that big white space is because you saved the graphic with that big white space so its repeating that same big white space lol =) here i uploaded it for you in my photobucket let me know when your done so i can take it out ok now your xanga should be perfect =)
