Showers in gym, during your... Options

Hey, in high school when you take a shower in gym, what about when you are on your period? And blood comes umm.. out. Do you wear a pad or tampon, well you dont shower at home with tampons in... can someone explain this process to me, the sowering, not the period stuff. thanks

weel not to be nasty or nothing but ya period usually doesnt come out wen ya takin a shower...juz wash , it dont matter if somebodies looking, yal are all girls

im going to take showers in gym this month and i would prolly wear tampons..but um..since i have swim and i leave mai bathing suit on bc..u dont have enough time to take your time in da shower wit clothes off and i would NEVER take a shower at school naked...theres no wall to blk and it wouldnt feel rite..but i would wear tampons...pads wouldnt be write..and i know u just said the shower part not the period but im just gona start and i duno wut to do either but im just givin u beginners choice =)

Taking a shower in school is the grossest thing ever! So I suggest that you don't take one at school at all. If you feel that you smell then use those Dove cleasner towels or something and lots of body spray :D
Can't forget the extra deoderant.

i have kayaking in school right now for adventure ed and we have only 15 minutes to shower dry off and put on our clothes etc.
and i just shower with my bathing suit on just to rinse off the clorine and with some shampoo get a quick shower.
we all share shampoo its not that bad.
its just the time. because of our next class.

I don't shower at school. Its kind of gross because, well I don't know why, but it just is to me. I just bring a change of clothes, lotion, and body spray.

im in swimming...and on JV which is my last period...but if i had to take a shower while on my period i would probably use a tampon or not nething...everyone else in there is a girl and prbly wonders about the same thing..but to be comfortable i would suggeust a tampon

I showered when we were swimming, but in my swim suit. But yeah........I didn't go swimming on my period, just sat on the benches. Therefore, I didn't shower at school on my period.

I am so glad we don't take showers in our gym... >_> it's pretty gross in my opinion. Great way to get a toe fungus as well!

I think they invented something called deodarant a small bit ago.
Instead of showers in school, we use our technology.

There's showers in our locker room, but they're not in use.
So we just kinda pretend it's not there... but if we did use them, they're like, fake-marble-y thing... with like, curtains o_O Idk, there's no water in them. So we don't shower in em or anything...

if you have time to shower at school and you are worried about being on your period, just leave a tampon in and then change tampons when you get out in the bathroom stall. a smart thing to do is keep some baby wipes in your gym locker just in case you need a quick cleaning.

I don't take showers at school, except for when we were swimming to wash out the chlorine and stuff, but I kept my bathing suit on. I would never take a shower naked at school, that's just weird. I don't think any girl at my school does, and that's a good thing. And it's not like you have to take a shower, just bring body spray or something =)

well i would bring deodarant and body spray and anything else that makes you smell good! bkuhz i wouldn't really know but thats my oppion bkuhz when i waz in gym last year we didn't take showers but ours really didn't matter bkuhz there was stalls that cover us! but yuck! i would never shower at skewl! espcially at my skewl cuz there is this corner at the back and that were the showers are and there isn't a door there yuck! so i was like no!!!! and if you shower it doesn't matter really if they see blood be like i matured before you did so hush! =P

They gave us 4 minutes to change when I took gym.. so showering was definitly out of the question. I'd just use a tampon if I was self conscious about it..

Don't shower at school at all...unless you're comfortable with showing your...nakedness and you like tons of bacteria. Instead of showering in school why don't you try showering when you get home, so if you do get your period during your shower it won't be as embarassing.

when girls are in water they dont bleed as much as they normally would so no worries:)
