Is this in the right place? blink.gif ?

well my science teacher was telling me about the tsunami in the indian ocean and she said that it was SO strong that it moved the earth a degree ( 12 miles ) ( u know how iot's like roatated on it's axis) yeah and she said that if it's like more diagonally down the north and south poles are going to be closer to the sun so they'll eventually melt and some of the water will start covering the land and if it went up that's good cause it's going to get colder but.. it'll just be better for us. i believe her.

I don't think she was talking about a essay..^. Anyways, that is kind of scary, the south pole melting, and it gets colder. Why would we want it to get colder.

actually the earth already wobbles on it's axis already from time to time due to tides and other geological events........that's why sometimes we have leap seconds =P

Now the earth had shrunk a bit due to the tsunami, so on the axis the Earth spins faster. Our days are getting shorter..but not too much, just a bit.

The tsunami has just wobbled it and now its back in place. Hm...have you ever played with a top? You know when you lightly tap it when it is spinning and it goes back straight, but then it falls. It is similar to the earth with the wobbely part.

Wow.

Lots of people know about what effected the Earth because of the tsunami. All I know is that it did something to the Earth's axis. That's it.

Wow. I'm stupid.

Ahh...well we're gonna die before the earth goes ...sizzle....KABOOM! But..it doesn't make you feel all that happy that your corpse is gonna be in a massive explosion....anyways....the tsunami was a tragedy with many lives lost...and we're focusing on the earth shifting? Ah....anyways...that's a cool new fact o' the day though. _smile.gif

Tsunamis... I hear enough about them. yes, call me careless.

Science is really so interesting.. I want to learn more but I can't so I'd rather not hear about it.

NOT good for us, smart one.
People living in new york and other islands in the northern hemisphere will have a mini tsunami flood thing and basically die.
