i was in NYC and i saw a billboard about the ring 2 coming out THIS YR!!!! does anybody know when, tho??

The Ring 2? You've got to be kidding me. The first Ring wasn't all that great to begin with, and they're making another one? Ew.

Maybe the reason why I didn't think it was that great is because I saw Scary Movie 3, which spoofs The Ring. When I saw The Ring, I thought it was a comedy happy.gif It really wasn't all that scary.

Yah i saw the trailor for it in the theatres. the 1st one scared the crap outta me, so the second one will probably do the same lol

but The Ring (1) was AMAZING. it was sooo scary. probably one of the best pschyological(SP?) horror movies ever made.. _smile.gif

i saw the first ring a couple weeks ago, and i don't see why people thought it was so scary. but i still wanna see number two just to see if it makes the first one a little more understandable.

yeah the first one wasn't all that great, I had to watch it a few times to finally understand it. I watched the preview for the second one, still confusing but I'll probably see it anyway.

I haven't been able to watch it just yet... too scared. But from what I've read, the trailer makes the second movie look REALLY good, better than the first.

no. i don't know when it comes out. but to tell the truth, i don't really care. the odds of me seeing that movie are very small. i didn't like the first one. i thought that the plot was alright but the movie as a whole was stupid. pinch.gif

the original japanese 1 was much better.. they didnt rely soo heavily on special effects.. but the acting was just like.. great.. and made it 10 times scarier..

but of course i'll go watch the high budgeted american remake..
