HELP!! left module, multiplies Options

i got a code from someone that when i first tried it, it put one left module on my site so i went back and got another code from this person for a right side module. when i clicked preview, there was no right module and the left module had moved to the footer. i took all the module codes out and got one left side module and put it in the webstats. i clicked preview and there were TWO left side modules. i cannot seem to find the problem in the code. here is the code

as he unconsciously parked the car on a railroad track.
he wrote something on a piece of paper
he held her hand and said, "read it later."
he always wished they would never part.
he said in a sad voice, "you just broke my heart."
she opened the door & walked out into the rain
thats when she saw the lights of the train.
realizing too late what she had sighted,
With the blink of an eye, metal collided all she could remember was blood running red,
and someone saying, "i`m sorry, he`s dead."
the ambulance sounded like an agony cry,
then she read the paper, and it said "without you i`d die."
