i am sure that some of you girls are worried about your figures. well my mom worries too. So here is the tip...

she says that if you stop drinking 30 minutes before you eat and 30 after you eat, you will feel full faster than if you were drinking. because if you drink, than the food just runs through you if there is liquid to help it along the way. if you don't don't have liquid in your body, than the food will stay in your body longer making you feel full faster and longer. i guess it works but what do i know? huh.gif

i agree, ur explanation is a little confusing. anyways, i beg to differ. they say if you drink water or any sort of drink while eating it makes u feel full faster. it makes sense right because you have liquid AND solids going into ur stomach.

this is how to get a good diet


1. Eat 2 times a day (don't go more than 1000 calories or don't go more than 20 sugars)
2. Drink 5 times of waterbottles (I drank Aquafina)
3. Drink 2 times of glass of orange juice
4. Eat 4 oranges
5. Do a 1 minute situps and 30 seconds of pushups
6. Run around the big mall like 3 to 4 times
7. Jog around your house for 5 minutes
8. Eat a lot of Salad or you can eat lots of grain/wheat foods
9. If you want to poop, don't be lazy and POOP
10. Dance for an hour (any dance)

--- do all of this in 2 days. keep doing this until you get skinnier. My friend and I made this dieting tips. We tried to test it out with this girl name Amanda. And it worked out well. She gained about 195 pounds that time, but now she lost a lot that she is now 160 pounds. She's taking a break from it, but we told her not to go out and eat in the fast restaurants. I told her to eat lots of rice, steak, cereal, milk, water, oranges, and vegatables. It took her about 2 to 3 weeks.

I hope my tip works hehh for you guys heh

Coz most ppls eat and then go to sleep straight after........*tsk tsk tsk* that ain't good since you're not exactly burning it off at all................

how to go on a diet.. um.

1) dont eat meat (that's where the fat is)
2) make sure u excercise (sit-ups or the hula hoop)
3) eat healthy (beans can replace the thing in meat)
4) dont eat rice (it's fattening)
5) eat ur veggies.
6) no junk food. there's something called carbs a.k.a. FAT in them.

Dieting, in my opinion, is not a good idea in general. There are so many fad diets and they're just not healthy. No offense to anyone who posted diet tips here, but some of them didn't really make a whole lot of sense.

Firstly, as someone finally correctly stated, drinking water before you eat will make you feel fuller faster. That's just logic. So nutritionists have suggested that if you want to feel fuller faster to avoid overeating, you should start drinking water ten minutes before your meal.

Secondly, to whoever suggested eating only two times a day... also not a very good idea. Ideally, we should all be eating very small meals six times a day rather than two to three large meals. The six small meals allow for constant refueling of the body and this will boost your metabolism allowing you to burn more calories throughout the day. The less you eat, the slower your body will metabolise the food. And also, naturally, if you're only eating two times a day, you're likely to get hungry and just end up eating more.

Thirdly, unless you take moral or ethical issue with eating meat, there really isn't reason to cut it out of your diet. People seem to think that Fat = evil, plain and simple. Not true. There are fats that are good for you. These fats are found in things like red meat, eggs, peanut butter... and meat contains protein which will ultimately help you turn fat to muscle. And no, I'm not saying go eat a huge juicy steak, but there's nothing wrong with a small, fairly lean cut of meat.

And losing a lot of weight really quickly is not at all good for you. It's very taxing on your body. I know that for most people, the purpose of a diet is not to be healthy, but to look good. And I know that there are some good diets out there, but just make sure that you consult a doctor or a nutritionist before going on ANY diet. And if you don't need to diet, don't. Just adopt a healthy lifestyle. Eat right and exercise. You all know the pyramid, you must've seen it in grammar school. 3-4 servings of fruit and vegetable, 5-6 servings of wheat/grain, 1-2 servings of dairy, 1-2 servings of meat/eggs/fish... I think so anyway. I'm probably messing that up, but you can look it up somewhere.

Anyway, just don't anybody hurt themselves in the pursuit of beauty. In the end, it won't make all that much difference in your life. Surface beauty is not a rare thing and beautiful, thin women are a dime a dozen, plastered all over the place in every magazine, on every billboard, on every commercial... but what use is it to look good when you're consumed by thoughts of what/when/how much you can or can't eat and you're always feeling like sh!t because you don't treat your body right? Not to mention the fact that who has time for all the crap involved with dieting? lol Just be happy on the inside and that'll show through. And trust me, it feels a lot better to be appreciated for inner beauty than to be appreciated for outer beauty.

most of those tips are good, but actually it's better to eat around 5 small meals per day, and eat breakfast to kick start your metabolism. Also, don't eat a really big dinner

uh, carbs and fat are two entirely different things tongue.gif Some junk food once in the while is not entirely bad for you, and may even help you get some sugars that you need, just don't eat everything in moderation

hrmmm maybe these would help my friends came up with them not me

1) eat salads or lots of fruits
2) eat 3 little meals a day
3) make sure you don't eat a lot of meat
4) play a sport
5) do a 30 min. excercise
6) eat some things but watch out wat the sugars and carb % is
7) don't eat late at night
8) don't eat before you go to bed
9) shouldn't eat snacks but if you do make sure it'z healthy like fruits or salad
10) don't sit on your butt! do some sports!


maybe these are things you can do to loss wieght? it might help if you play a sport a lot ^__^ bekuhz one of my friends played sports with my other friends and they kept running down the court and stuff like dat maybe soccer, basketball, tennis and other things but i'm not sure if they work for everyone these aren't things you have to do but some of them should work ^__^ if it does your welcome if it doesn' t i'm sorrie i'd tierd to help ^__^ good luck!
