Go to My Computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager.. it should be that if you have Windows XP. That should show all of your hardware. Make sure theres no errors with it. You can find this out by getting the properties of the USB device by right clicking it.

>_> I'm confusing. =O

That may help... I don't know.

Did it come with a CD with a driver? Because it is a Muvo I'm pretty sure that you can just use it as a jump drive but you might wanna check just in case. I've also had that problem before with USB stuff, like my USB harddrive, it would connect and it would display as connected but it couldn't be used which was annoying. If you haven't already, try restarting your comp or contacting Creative or visiting their site and searching through the FAQs.

I have something like that its fine! all you have to do ( since im guessing it didnt come with a CD ) is use winamp or real player or even windows media to transfer your music files from the porgram to your " portable device "..try it and let me know if not PM me.
