so, i have the coordinates, but since i used image mapper it inserts a pic of it's own. i want it to work on my background pic. does anyone know the code for this? this is what i have so far.

i was hoping someone would know what onclick meant. lol.
i tried the code, but like i said, it inserted the picture again in the header. i want it to work on the background. |

i dont believe you can make image mapping thats used as a background
but if you mean a divider blog over it.... then thats a completly different thing |

hmm, i think i know what the divider blog over it is...
maybe this will help...my xanga at the top you'll see a banner, which is part of the background. when i try to use the code that the image mapping program gave me it inserts the background again as the header. the only thing i thought of is cutting out the rest of the background and leaving the banner. then i map the banner and insert the banner into the blog header. it works, but it's slightly off and when i scroll down it disappears. is there a way to fix the banner so that it doesnt move along with the body? i had the code once when my whole xanga was in a frame. |

ah, i see what you mean, if i were you, i wouldnt insert the image you have as a background, but as a regular image
<img src="URL"> and then after that, do the image mapping, i believe that it still will take up the whole screen :) |

but if it takes up the whole screen, wont that cover up the blog body? and will it be fixed so that it wont scroll with the page?

actually, the blog always goes on top of the images.... i really dont know why but they do
i believe it will be fixed, but im not 100% sure |

when i try <img src="URL"> it inserts the picture into the header and not in the back...hmm.

crop the section carefully and image map the navigation part.
