As 2004 comes to a close, what did you learn about yourself from your experiences this year?

I learned that:
- Life and people change, you just have to deal with it as it comes
- You don't have to take everything so seriously
- Heartbreak is just a part of life and even though it hurts you have to overcome it
- While boyfriends may come and go friends are always there for you and you should never let your whole social life revolve around your boyfriend and put your freinds second
- Everything has a way of working itself out
- People come and go in life and the only people you need in your life are the ones that need you in theirs. Also sometimes It's not worth talking to people who hurted you in the past. It ain't worth trying to glue the pieces back together and just be friends. That's why, you have to keep moving on until you find happiness.
- Happiness is everything

some people are BITCHES. particularly grls in my school

and then some grls have PERSONALITY CLASHES.

and then when grls that BITCH and have CLASHES are forced to work together, THEY START A WAR.

and then the rest of us get CAUGHT IN IT. And the rest of us just WISHED that both of the BITCHES would GO AWAY.

Sorry. Had to vent.

There's people in more deeper problems than me.. so I should shut up about being so low... and I should stop complaining because there are people who have it worse than me.

i learned:
-to be more comfortable about things and not stress about stuff too much
-life is full of drama and if its a pain in the butt take a break from it
-dont bottle things up inside all the time it'll bite u in the butt if u do
-u can't have everything in life, some things must be sacrificed
-im not as ready for things as i thought i would be, i should still keep the promise i made to myself and not go against it
-there's alot to be thankful for and the more i complain the more i miss out on life.
-i am a meanie by heart. pinch.gif

-that some people can seem sweet when you first meet them, but later they become absolute bitches.
-to be more comfortable with myself.
-that i can be good at sports if i try.
-that boys are fickle.
and that i will do anything for him.

2004 has been a good year. 2003 was better.

I should've just failed 7th grade so I could stay there another year.. which basically means 8th grade sucks.

It may take some time to get used to things. I took a class I didn't want, and now I may want to take the harder option of it next year.

Learning instruments by yourself is hard. I taught myself how to play the piano, and I'm in the process of teaching myself how to play the guitar. I knew it was going to be hard, but I really didn't think it would turn out to be THIS hard. Things take time.

Relationships aren't what they're cut out to be.

Even when you don't break up bitterly, you and your ex probably won't remain friends.

People = SHIT. [AHAH, aren't I clever..? -_-]

Obsess all you want. It's not going to amount to anything in the long run.

Once a friend gets a boyfriend, she's going to ditch you constantly for him. Well, at least one of my friends.. >_> <_< ><

Er.
Yeah.
And some more.. ermm.gif

- All "friends" are fake.
- Boys are stupid; they break hearts.
- Family doesn't mean anything; choose your own and choose wisely.
- Don't get to emotionally attatched.
- Whenever you start liking someone, drama will ensue.
- I'm a bitch; deal with it.
- Ignorant people will remain that way, no matter what.
- Life.. sometimes isn't worth living; other times, it's wonderful.
- Being alone hurts; being in love hurts more.

- To appreciate what I've got, cuz it hurts when you lose it.
- I'm nasty when I'm in a bad mood.
- I hurt so many people and I don't even know it.
- It hurt just as much to break one of your best friend's heart, as much as it hurts for them to break yours. (For me, at least. Haha, won't elaborate.)
- DON'T JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS
- Don't get your hopes up too high, because it'll hurt more when you come crashing down.
- CB is awesome. *hugs the computer* (*sweatdrop*)

There's more that I haven't thought of yet.

Oh yeah. High school sucks and rocks at the same time.

Nothing's as it appears to be. Stop being superficial. Nothing's perfect. And people aren't always going to be there for you. You gotta do things yourself, don't depend on other people because most of the time, they turn their back on you when you need them the most. Be independent.

That's pretty much what I've learned.

- high school relationships are usually pretty superficial.
- not everything can work out the way i want it to.
- if i can't change the situation, i might as well just change my outlook on it.
- i'm capable of overcoming my fears.
- there's a world outside of my own.
- the purity of intellect is, in most cases, contaminated by structured education.
- conformity isn't all that great.
- nonconformity isn't all that great.

— To be comfortable with being myself
— You can't always trust people
— Bad friends aren't worth shit
— Don't let people get you down so easily
— Sometimes it's good to make things your way for once
— Being a bitch to people who never did anything to you isn't going to get you any where

its weird to look back on myself, and see how much more i've matured...

my obsession with the lion king isn't much of an obsession anymore for one.

also, i can't expect a boy to make myself complete. i can't relie on anyone but me to make me happy. having a guy may be nice, but it can't just change my whole outlook just like that.

i've learned that this obsession over a boy i've had for a few years now, was just lust and i should have given that up a long time ago.

lets see...many people are pretty judgemental, i guess i've also learned i'm shallow in my own ways, and im steriotypical also. i know i judge people myself and i try to get past that.

i've learned that some people may just be downright mean, and you just need to get past that. and no matter how much i try to make myself a better person everyday some people could care less on becoming the best they can.

i got my first jobs last year. doing 3 at one time was sort of fun, and i made a lot of money combined.

i learned on what friends are trustworthy, and to not let myself open up to people who have hurt me in the past. i've sorted out the people that i can talk to and cannot talk to.

i've learned that i'm a hellalot quiet aorund some people. possibly intimidated.
then others its like this whole other person comes out.

I learned:

-Its not worth changing yourself to get a guy, just be yourself and it will all work out
-The truth may not always be better, but its better than a lie
-Makeup does not make beauty, confidence does.
-Its better to say something, then hold it all in
-To forget what other people might think and just have fun.
-Friends are someone you can always go to, i didn't realize that for awhile.
-Friends always come first, screw boyfriends. (wait not like that)
-In order to stop grieving for someone, the first step is to accept that they are gone. Denying it only makes it worse
