i've always wondered, HOW do you ask someone out. do you just go up to them ask say "hey, want to go out with me?" doesn't that seem a little awkward?

um. yes? all the people that asked me were like "hey, want to go out?" or "will you go out with me?" or something. that's an interesting question. how else do people ask?

hmm. just straight askign them out like that is sorta is weird. i usually get to knwo the person ya know be friends with them. and say, like yeah i think our friendship is going great, but i would like to be more then friends. so would u like to go out with me?" somethign like that i guess.

i agree with the above. if i were to ask a guy out, id get to know him and his personality better first and see if he's worth it. and then maybe id drop teeny little hints and stuff like "oh you know that new movie? heard it was good! wanna go see it sometime?". subtle yet its always worked for me so that they'd ask me out =).

well, i've never asked anyone out. but i guess, you get to know them better and then ask them, "hey, want to see a movie tomorrow" or something like that.

Never asked anyone out before, but just asking them like that is kind of odd. I suggest something creative? Or something besides, "Want to go out with me?!". =P

"GO OUT WITH ME NOW, BITCH, OR I'LL IMPALE YOU WITH THIS SPORK!" Oh yeah. They'd have to say, "Yes," to that.

ask them to go to a movie with you "one on one" as freinds of course and if she agrees to go with u then she must not mind bbeing with you... then see if u get a long... and then if you like how that dat is going during the middle of the movie ask her to be ur gf and if she agrees then hold her hnads and if not then you don't have to talk anyways since ur watching the movie and fater the movie u'd forget it to rmb that u got rejected, or you can ask her if she lieks u first then THEN if she says yes or is shy and giggly about it then ask her to be ur gf. it works, she has no where to run hehehe

lol that seems akward...i'd be all "Are you busy [someday at sometime]?" Then they'd answer and I'd be all "Oh, would you want to go out to [somewhere] with me?" lol yeah..[: not that I've actually done it, though. haha

somewhere on that line I'm gonna assume? Well....err...that's normally how you would do it if you wanted to....meh. yepps....I think that's it. And I don't think it's an awkward thing??? well if it is now..it wasn't until you brought it up....

yeah those are the usual lines but you can always make it more special...like with the environment and have good timing and whatnot...hard to explain but yeah.

I don't like the whole "Will you go out with me" thing. I mean technically you guys aren't going to go OUT, considering you are young and can't drive and whatnot. I think a better way would be to just express how you feel to the person and if the feeling is mutual, give it time and spend more time with the person and there's your relationship.
