what would your partner/significant other have to do with someone else for you to think that he/she has cheated on you?
for me i think i would think that he cheated on me if he... -kisses another girl (make out, touching, hold hands etc) -and of course if he slept with another girl... but some ppl may think hugging or flirting is... so what about you.. |

Good question.
He would have to kiss the girl, sleep with her, even try the whole phone sex or cyber sex to me would be considered cheating. He has friends who are girls that he hugs and occasionally flirts with however he does not go any further than that. I do the same thing though So I personally do not think that hugging or flirting is cheating. |

And the mild flirting does not bother me either. They have been friends for a very long time. |

well cheating i would have to say is like what you all said -- kissing, holding hands, making out, sleeping with someone, things like that. but i don`t think hugging or flirting is but i think that i would probably get jealous. oh and my ex used to talk to girls on the phone a lot for hours, and that got me kind of jealous too, but i don't think that is cheating.

If she kisses another guy, or worse, have sex, i consider that cheating. Hugging, to me, does not really mean cheating. So i just kind of summarized the post above me ><.

jealously is a dangerous thing. my ex broke up with me because i have too many friends that are girls and I used to go on nature hikes with them... i would never cheat, or have an intention to cheat but she foudn it too much.

hugging is okay, as long as the bf/gf hugs their gf/bf, if they didn't and just hugged other people... that's f**ked up. flirting constantly w/ other people. mild flirting is okay
kissing others, making out w/ others, asking others out, having sex w/ other people, etc.

Seriously though, kissing would probably be the limit for me, echoing what everyone else has said, but I don't think holding hands is that bad. |

I don't think hugging/flirting is considered cheating. Sometimes people flirt without even realizing it and that's not the guys fault...as long as he's not interested. And as far as hugging, I hug my guy friends all the time but it doesn't mean I want a relationship with them and it's only fair that I don't mind if my boyfriend does that with his friends that are girls
HOWEVER..if I saw my boyfriend with his arms around some chicks waist or touching her in a way that he would only touch me, or give her the "look" then that would be a form of cheating to me. |

you ppl say it liek hugging is okay... but what if the girl/boy is OBVIOUSLY flirting with him/her and he STILL hugs her and touhes her? :S thats a no no for me! i'd not trust him and it would take me forever to trust him again and i would break up if i wasn't serious with him.
