alright i have this headset i use while i play cs and sometimes i talk to my friends with it. and it works perfectly..but ilke a few hours ago theres alota static, i kept pulling out the plugs and putting them back in..and not just on cs is there static..but like when i try and record my voice on the comptuer..its still not clear and stuff.and i can hear this other loud sound when i hear my voice. what should i do cuase i know my mic isnt broken

is it plugged into the right outlet?

Did you spill liquid on the mic?

Did you in any way break or damage the mic to your knowledge? <---- I know you think it isn't but check again. What was the last thing you did with the mic before it went haywire?

Is this loud sound a feedback loop?

Get a new mic.

Well try this:
go to start, all programs, acessories, entertainment, Volume control, and turn down the Line in thing just a little bit then try recordin again

Having computer problems lol. Camera now this...

Anyway, it could be old age or it sounds like a cable problem... is it jammed underneath anything? I.E. Desk, chair.
