um.. iunno if this was suppose to go under webdesign chat because I always thought there was for QUESTIONS, not chatting. =\ so any mod can move this if it's suppose to be there...

anyway, have you ever tried to say fonts outloud? I once said "vernada" i pronounced it VERRR-NAHHH-DAHHH
and my friend said it was pronounced VERRR-NAY-DAHH
I dont know which one's right, but have you ever tried to pronounce fonts before? if you did which font and HOW did you pronounce it?

*and it arial, i said it was AIR-EE-OLLL
And my friend said it was .. something but it was different than mine =\
Same with Tahoma. I said TA-HOME-AH
and she said it was .. something else, too, but i forgot.

Both of you got it wrong. The font is Verdana. hammer.gif

If the font names are pronounceable (I don't know if there's such a word), I sometimes read them out.
My favourite font is Verdana. Ver-dahn-nah.
2nd favourite is Georgia. Yea, Georgia such as in a girl's name.

any font that has some relation to times new roman is great. bookman old antique <- is that what it's called? and garamond!! garamond is very very good. whoever said that somewhere up there must be a genius.

for some reason, i just don't really like comic sans. i wonder why.
