wow, a guy w/ a belly button piercing! awesome!! I believe you are free to do what you want with your body (after you're 18 of course!) and i don't see the harm in it. if your parents don't agree then you can't, which i think is stupid. If people want to pierce their bodys then that's just showing the unique person that they are. All i have is

* ears 3 on left and 4 on right (caritlage is peirced on right ear)

its hard to understand how most parents are like "eek, look at that guy, all those piercings!! you wouldnt want to be like him, would you, honey?" i mean, piercing is our choice. the only consequences(sp?) are pain when piercing and infections. really, mom, i think i can handle it.

my friend's mom won't let her get her ears pierced and she's like, "i'm not putting holes in my body to make myself prettier.."

Why does age determine whether its right or not? Im 15 and I have my eyebrow, lip, and tongue pierced. Does that mean its wrong since im under 18? My parents let me do things the way I want to do them, unless ofcourse they know what im doing is sending me down the wrong path.

i dont think its wrong, but it scares me tho .. i think people should be natural. i hope your not gona regret when you have those holes ... cuz afte 20 years .. people with piercing would probaly regret .. i saw a lady starting to regret becuase she has piercing on her lip, ears, eyes, and everywhere .. and she wants to be normal. she got a surgery and extreme makeover.

when i was 14 i went alittle crazy, and pierced my knuckled wrist and arm, and had a bunch on my ears. but then those bugged me and the knucled one hurt reallyyy bad...im content now, though. i dont want any more excet for a spinal corset and nose ring

i think they should lower the age to 14 for the legal piercing age without parental consent

Nothing is wrong with piercings. It's your body you should be able to do what you want with it (although I understand why they don't want you pierced and tattooed in the work place... it makes ignorant people uncomfortable). I just got 3 new piercings yesterday bringing my total to 8.

Left Ear (top to bottom):
18 g cartilage (going to be a 14 g soon) *new*
14 g cartilage
3-18 g lobe piercings *the third is new*

Right Ear:
3-18 g lobe piercings *the third is new*

I really want my nose and eye brow too but my school doesn't allow face piercings.

I used to think the same way, the truth is the tongue is the part of your body that is least likely to be infected, hurt, or any other horror story you may have read. In fact most piercers are more comfortable piercing someones tongue than they are theie cartilidge (sp), eyebrow, or even lip.

for me it's not possible... it's highly probable. I have 8 piercings on my ears and every time i get a new one it gets infected. I just have to clean it out twice a day and then put neosporin on the earrings before i put them back on and its gone in a few days.

Peircings arn't wrong, I mean, you can take them out, and most of the time you can't even see the hole. I have three in both ears, my tongue, eyebrow, labrae, and I had my belly button peirced but took it out when I got pregnant.

Peircings are sometimes just a change of life thing...Like you want something different. Unlike tattoos, they can be taken off...

i don't really understand that. . you can take piercings out at anytime and the holes will close. you will have little scars that look like acne scars, but thats all.

i have a my septum, navel (x2), tongue and earlobes pierced. i really like them. though i have only had my tongue pierced for a little over a month so i'm still not too sure how to kiss my boyfriend yet. its confusing. haha.
