Please guys i almost finished with my xanga... except i don't know how to do this...
OK, i have my xanga pic that i was to set as a background, i image mapped everything, yet it keeps making the pic a banner and not the background.... what i want is that whenever i edit my xanga or put an entry in, i want it to go on the pic itself, hard to explain sry. my xanga is www.xanga.com/ctrl_alt_De_1337 like u can see on the pic there is a little outline i made for the stuff i wanna put in there like new entries |

put that in the HTML header and close it with a </div> in the website stats. change the #'s in the code. don't use negative numbers for the top and left part. if the positive numbers don't work, change top or left to bottom or right. |

aww crap i don't think i explained it presice
 ok lemme try again so i have my xanga with the naruto pic, and i cleared out a square that is blank;white (my xanga) www.xanga.com/Ctrl_Alt_de_1337 it's not on the tutorials it's more of a more advanced thing, where in the naruto pic with the white square i want to put my blog there so when i edit all the stuff will show up on the white area... in the attached pic, there is the white square, and that's wher ei want to put my blog in

the codes that were posted WILL put everything into the white box, you just have to keep changing the margin-left and margin-top numbers until the it's into the box.

huh? what do you mean? just make sure you put the code AFTER your html for you picture, or else the picture will go inside to

ok i think i understand how to get it into the white box but if u have suggestions please respond
ok so if i set the pic as a background then i will lose all the image sorry i mean image blender or something like on the pic it says claf, and other stuff (navigation) |

you can put the picture as a background but it wont be image mapped anymore

Nothing will happen to your image map. The image will stay the same. It WILL become your background IF you move the div over it.
