The word "Like" Options

I've noticed that I say the word "like" a lot...
And when I present stuff and i'm nervous, I say it a lot..
and i never notice when I say it, either.. in conversation....

Do you say the word "like" a lot??

yeah. if you ever will know me in real life, you will notice that i overuse "like", "ohmigawd" and "totally". i have no idea how i got into the habit. it really pisses everyone off. ;/

I could say the sentence without like, though.

yea, my language arts teacher makes us write down our names everytime we say the word "like" he doesn't like the word "like" it's kinda funny

yeah i say "like" alot. my cousins from back east said i had the "californian" accent. they couldve been just kidding. but in a awya it does seem kinda true. in the south they do have that drawl. so it would sound reasonable for californians to have that way of speaking.

anyways, i don't use it a lot since i talk in "tagalog" (filipino language) most of the time. but when i need to speak in english, i sometimes use it but i don't over use.
