It's been bugging me lately w/the whole presents thing that you give someone a present and they're like "oh thanks, it's great bla bla bla" but like when someone gives them another gift they're all like "OMG! I love you. THANK YOU SO MUCH!" I mean, maybe my gift sucks but yeah, it still makes me feel kind of bad. And you know i actually thought my present would mean something. You see he's not having a Christmas because his familia's moving on the 30th and he kept complaining about not having a christmas tree...so i got him one. But like when someone gets him some home made duct tape wallet, he goes crazy over it. A friend told me he didn't have to tell me how much he loved it seeing as he prob got that it meant alot to him, but i don't know....yeah i'm just ranting. Sorry.

I think it's the fact that you gave a gift and he just kind of went "Oh yeah....whatever." No matter what you give, when that happends you feel pretty hurt. I think it's the fact he didnt like it maybe in the way you hoped it would. Lord knows thats happened to me enough. =\ But anyways, even if he felt he didn't need to tell you, it still makes YOU feel better to know, instead of having your feelings hurt.

maybe he's just being a guy. just brush it off. or if you really are curious, ask his friends about what he thinks of it. orrrr ask one of your guy friends if they were in the same situation to see what his reaction would be as well.

Aww that's really sweet of you! And really thoughtful too. Iono what to say. Maybe like sheddingtears said, he's just being a guy or he doesn't know how to show emotions that well..

I think you could have done better. Come on, a christmas tree? What is he going to do, leave that in his room after Christmas? You could have gave him something, shoud I say, more meaningful.

He's gonna take that as a compliment. Just ignore him. Anyway, I think that's really sweet, esp. when he kept complaining. Whiner.
