is it true after your period starts, then that means you will stop growing?!?! T___T;; my period started when i was in 5th grade... and i still have the same height when i was in 5th grade... i never grew yet T_T;; so it's that true? T_T;;;;;
. . . i'm 5'3 btw...but i want to grow a little bit more^^;;;;;; |

you keep growing till like you're like in your 20s or 30s. Your height could be hereditary(sp?) or you may be growing at a smaller pace than everyone else. or, sadly you may not grow anymore. but i doubt that. you still good a lot of years ahead of ya!

I don't think thats true because.. I started my period in 5th grade also and I was like a midget back then.. now I'm 5'4 1/2

lol naw thats not true. who'd you hear that from? lol no i was like 4'9 when i got my period, and now i'm 5'3. and you keep growing til about college years, so i wouldn't sweat it. ur prolly still growing...just lil by lil

A few years after you get your first period. That's just an average, though. |

i hope not...b/c im 5'2 and shorter than almost everyone in my class...but ive grown since i got my period....i was 10 when i started and now (im 12) i'm like an inch or 2 shorter than i am now.

i got it when i was 12. and i was 5"1 and now im 15 and im 5"1 and a half!
HOPEFULLY i'm going to keep growing  i think i stopped though~ >.<no fair, my brother got to grow to be 6"0
