help with grid in background?, glowing red grid fade away |

Sup guys, hoping someone could give me some steps on how to do this. I looked at the tutorials but ive still had no luck.
http://uploads.bestupload.com/users/uploads/untitled_1.1.jpg thats the picture i want to do it on. i want it to fill the middle black part and kind of fade into the pictures on both sides. wanting a red grid with a light glow to it. I would really appreciate some help on it. Thnx. |

well i see the fading part, but if you have photoshop or something even in psp, you make a grid pattern on a new layer and add an outer glow in the layer effects.
