my mom was proud when i got my period and also when i get good gradess, thats mainly it for my mom, but my grandpa is proud of me when i eat more than two servings, he finds me too skinny for my own good...gosh it sucls

Reminds me of what they do in Japan.

As I read in an anime book, Japanese parents would unexpectedly go to the girl's room (the girl cant say no, she has to let them in), and if they find a red spot of blood on the girls underwear, they celebrate b/c the girl has her first period. They would all eat red beans and red rice (basically, anything red).

Thats a fact to b honest. There was a lil manga about that where this girl.. ehh, i dont wanna discuss it in here, 2 inappropriate. if you ppl wanna kno though, PM me (which i doubt will happen)

I think my mom and dad would be proud of me if I got straight A+'s. A-'s and A's are not enough. _dry.gif There's not really anything they're proud about..

When I got my period my mom was like "Really? That's weird, you and your grandma and me got ours when we were 13! You got it so early! Okay this is what you do, wash your underwear in cold water and.."

My mom's proud of me when I go to the fridge to feed myself. blink.gif She thinks I'm anorexic or something. Oh and they're usually proud of my grades or if I win an essay contest or if I do well in debate.

my mom was just happy i got my period because it meant she didnt have to take me to the doctor blink.gif but she did proceed to tell my entire extended faimly...

however, i have yet to get a boyfriend, so i dont know if shed be proud of that one yet or not. i think shed be happy if i got my first kiss before the age she got hers. right now its not looking too good though. she was 15, and ill be 16...well, next august, but still

My mum is proud each time I get an award or recognition for something. I think she was uber proud at the 5th grade graduating ceremony. I got 'Math Whiz'. I don't know how that happened; I suck at math.

my mom gets so proud when im involved in activities. i remember a story i wrote got featured in the newspaper and my mom picked up like 20 copies of it and kept stacks of them at home..it was too much.
