I was just talking to my bf last night about what we should do for New Years this year and couldn't think of anything. Well, I'm really up for doing something exciting this year and I guess I'll figure something out later. Maybe get some ideas from you guys.

What are ya'll planning to do for New Years?

Not much. I'm most likely going to watch TV and have some champagne.

But Roxanne, you should go to some clubs in DC, I heard a lot is going to happen on New Years.

I want to. I mentioned that to TJ (my bf) but he's a homebody... he doesn't do clubs. _dry.gif I forced him to go with me once and he stood in the corner the whole time. So yeah... no clubs. pinch.gif

We're going to have a small little party at my house. My brother and his wife are coming down from Atlanta and my best friend will be with me too. Eat lots of food and drink champagne. tongue.gif

I was going to go see Cheap Trick, but it's 21 and up. Still made about that. So I guess I'll be at my aunt an uncles house. _dry.gif really wanted to see CT though.

I REALLY want to go to Times Square, but I doubt we'll go.

We'll probably end up partying at someone's house or another...

i'll probably go to my dad's friend's house again, just like every other year. he throws dinner parties at his uber cool mansion a lot. last year i watched edward scissorhands with the other kids while the adults talked and we went downstairs five minutes before midnight to "party."

I don't watch the ball drop. It took me 6 minutes to figure out what the hell everyone meant. haha, anyhoo, i'ma stay up unitl midnight, then call a few people and wake them up to tell them happy new years, then I'ma turn on a favorite cd amd dance the rest of the night away! ...All by myself, hahahaha. Meh, new years runs hot and cold for me. oh well. happy.gif

Well, i usually go to Santa Ana in Californina, and then wait until Chinese New Year. For Chinese new year, we usually get a red envolope with money inside it. either 1-100, thats how much i got. Then we have fircrackers, (they're so loud, but playful) and usually friends or family give you red envolopes. It's Cool! oh yeah, in vietnamese, we call chinese new year "Tet" here's an easier way to say it:
