About 6 months ago, my grandpa got diagnosed with prostrate(sp?) cancer. He go treatment and was in remission and was doing alot better. but on monday, we found out that he has even more cancer than he started out with! He now has cancer in his liver, kidney and and it is spreading up and down his back bone. He also has a tumor the size of a golfball in his stomach. And the doctor said that he doesn't know if his lifespan will be 6-8 weeks or 6-8 months, all that we know is that he will be gone by the end of 2005. It feels so weird knowing when he will be dead. i am so worried because we just lost our grandma earlier this year. My aunts and mom can't take this!

my grandfather was diagnosed with lukemia and died last month  i really miss him now i have no grandfathers

my grandma had cancer and died two years ago. this girl i knew from camp died from cancer about a month ago. my friend has cancer...i'm sorry to hear about your grandpa. make the best of the time you have left.

aww, I really hope you feel better about your grandpa and all =[ it must be hard. But cheer up, because then he'll be in a better plce. I hope everyhting works out for you

my gramps has cancer. i run for him to keep my name in his will. j/k i did everything that i friggen could for the fight against cancer and diabetes [which my uncle currently has]

my grandpa also has (or had) prostate cancer.. he got radiation treatment for it and they say he is better for now
 sorry about your grandfather i know how you feel, just the word 'cancer' is kinda scary when someone you love has it

a family friend had breast cancer but the chemo and radioactive treatments helped her and so she's okay now and she hasn't had a relapse.

My Aunt had cancer but I don't exactly know what happened after she had her surgery.. she seems normal now but I don't know if she's really okay.

i'm very sorry...my dad had colon cancer. it was very scary, they had to have surgury and everything..and kimo or something...i didn't really know much about it. actually it was last year when i happened.
about 5 years ago my gradma had breast cancer. shes all right now though. but she needed surgury also. then my very best friend from 3rd-7th grade got diagnosed with like some thyroid cancer in 6th grade, it was very sad... |

My mother died in breast cancer when l was 8
She suffer alot coz we dont have some money to buy her some medicine and for her treatment l miss her alot I LOVE HER VERY MUCH

yeah, like other people said, use the time you have left wisely. comfort others when you're stronger than them =] and plus, there are lots of cancer survivors in the world. don't get too down.

my grandmother had cancer and she died when i was 7. i didn't really know what was going on back then cuz i was young but then i found out i wouldn't see her anymore

so many people are dying of cancer. my science teacher's father died and so did my math teacher's grandfather. It must be weird to know that you are going to die. Make your grandfather's remaining time as happy as it can be, don't sit around the hospital and wait for it, go around and have fun.

kinda weird that i stumbled upon this topic..i just found out tonight that my friend has a disease that could develope into cancer...shes just turned 15 a couple days ago and just found out. i cried ...i couldnt breathe half the night. just the thought of not having her as a friend or anything. i find myself telling her how much i love her now, im 17 and my mom thought i had cancer when i ws about 14 or 15..i never got checked its kinda scary. Someone mentioned how that word can scare u..yeah it scares me anytime i hear it...everyone has it just about now its so hard not to hear about it. Live ur life to ur fullest..eat healthy, excercise, dont damage ur body try ur hardest not to make anyone go through what ur going through...it hurts i know.

My mom had cancer twice..andshe just died in August..a day before my friend's birthday. I didn't care much since i hated my mom..she always treated me likte poop...while she spoiled my brothers. I swear my parents always thought I had serious problems..

my uncle that had passed away a while back had some sort of a liver cancer. &my grandma has cancer as well but i dont know much about what type. no one will tell me. plus im worried for her.

I known my grandfather for a month since me, my mom, and my dad went to visit him. after we went back to the U.S, my aunt (in vietnam) called and said he was going to die in 10 days! i was like "what happen?!?" he didn't have cancer though, he died normally. but i miss him, i miss the days he took me to go eat Sandwiches (Banh My Thit) lol i miss him so much. yeah, i know how it feels

my grandma from my mom's side has bladder cancer. she pees from her hips with a tube connector.
