Holy shit. I was sitting here last night all by myself at like midnight... All of a sudden this screeching sound starts coming from the attic... It sounded like it was getting all torn up in there. I just sat there like a retard, too afraid to go check it out. _unsure.gif

The noises have stopped, but I'm still too afraid to go up there. sad.gif My dad's away until next Wednesday, and my mom won't ever go up there. Should I stop being such a wuss and go check it out? Has anything like this ever happened to you?? yawn.gif

sooo...u know it's a bat or you're just guessing?

noo, this never really happened, but if it makes you feel better, you should just wait till your day comes come, but then again it might go away, so go up there in the daytime with a friend, cause ya never know, it might be nothing happy.gif tongue.gif

I'm pretty sure it's a bat. At least I'm hoping it is.

I'm too afraid to go up there; no way in hell! I'll just send my dad up there with a squirt gun or something.

We thought there was a squirrell in the attic.
There wasn't.

And we have ants...
and I am 110% sure we do...
cause we called Terminex mellow.gif
And then all these ants came the week after...
and then they died..
I hope they don't come again....

LOL with a squirt gun laugh.gif
hehe, do you have a lot of bats in your area or something? cause where i live, a screeching noise would most likely not be a bat

Haha. That reminds me of 'The Grudge' cause she hid up in the attic. Anyways, we had a raccoon in our attic. It was right above my room so I didn't sleep for like a week. We called an animal catcher & they got em.

i think you should bring some friends over. and have an adventure in the attic. It'll be fun, and you'll find the problem!

I'd go up there with several people if I were you and stand in the center of the crowd. That way, if you see or hear anything that freaks you out, you'll be guarded by the people in front of you and won't be harmed.

Unless it sneaks up from the ground, I suppose.

It's probably some sort of animal, just call animal control. But please don't hurt it. _unsure.gif

LMAO

You guys are hilarious.
I don't know what a bat sounds like exactly, just the sounds from Scooby Doo where the bats fly out is kind of the same.

If I call animal control then they'll come to my house... what if it's nothing?

OMG. THE GRUDGE. HOLY SHIZ. Forget it... whatever's up there can stay up there.

Maybe a rat...and it appeared out of somewhere in the girl's locker room.
I wanted to check it out but I was afraid it would go up my pants.

it's probably a bat, racoon, opossum, or just a really big mouse.
i'd be too scared to go out and check what it is.
i would usually get my friends to do it first.
but that hasn't happened to me before, the houses i've ever lived in never had an attic.
