i was there at that same day when the protests were happening.

they were protesting cause they wanted new contracts... from the employers in tropicana and another 2 big casino's i forgot what.. ohh yea bally's and one more but i forgot

but i told my dad to honk to say that we are listening and supporting them.

but yea i think this is definatley not a debate. its more of an opinion thing.

I think protesting is ok. I don't think I ever would, unless I thought really strongly about something that was important to me. I mean, those people have their opinions & they can do what they want (as long as they obey the law),. It's a free country. I say, Go for it.

Ask yourself this. Would you rather have them protesting peacefully or rioting?

we'll leave it hear for now.

I'm fine with protests. Free speech and all. What i'm not fine with is violence that goes with some protests. What kind of message are you sending by protesting a war, but at the same time, break glass windows and kick policemen. That's just plain stupidity. Same thing with the environmentalist terrorist groups. They set SUV's on fire in order to "stop pollution", but by doing so, they caused lots of smoke and created pollution. Morons...
