i kno its really childish to have sibling rivalry...but i f*cking hate my younger sister brittany! im 14, almost 15 and this is really embarrasing....but she makes me so mad that sometimes i can't hold it in any longer and i cry/freak out in front of her! my parents love her sooo much and they hate me...and she knows it too

she is so frickin spoiled. she'll come home with like alll this shit i neva had when i was 11. and she'll rub it in too.
she has really nice clothes mom buys her and my mom expects ME to have a job and pay for my things now.
she never gets in trouble...
she has more friends than me...
she gets better grades
she is better than me at everthing...
she goes through my stuff and read a very sexual (lol) note between me and my bf

and the list goes on and on...

does ne one here feel the same way i do?

l have a half brother and sister. They always have the best things in life l could ever dream of . l hate them when they try to show me their brand new cellphone or anything that l never had l hate them so much l have a better grades than they have but still they got what they want. Its unfair

I get along pretty well with my younger brother (10 y/o and I'm 17) so I don't know. We used to fight a lot over stupid little things but he's not spoiled at all so I guess that's okay. It's not like his grades are any better than mine either, because he likes to procrastinate just as much as I do... It's okay... You could be 30 something and still have sibling rivalry, yeah... So don't be embarassed or anything. Maybe the day you go off to college, you'll begin to miss the existence of your little sister.

Yeah I know EXACTLY how you feel, hun. I am the third youngest of four children. Me and my eldest sister know that the second eldest and the youngest, the boy, are the favorites. And then between the oldest and me, she is the favorite. And my parents do a very good job of letting em know that. I don't want to go into detail, because I'll get all mad, but I do know how you feel. But don't hate her... I'm sure there are times when you love her. Infact, you do all the time, lol. Tell me, if you could, would you save her life? In all honesty?

My older brother is favored........ He's the smartest (in his graduation year) and the most athletic, etc. It sucks. I think you just need to talk to your parents. Make it clear how you feel and why. Give them examples of thier favoritism and tell them it makes you feel like crap.

My brother is so fricken smart and tough, it isn't funny. Well, we get along pretty well, but he gets mad easily and we fight for the dumbest reasons. He is only one year older than me, so yeh.

And to those who have annoying/bratty siblings that you hate:

I have a precious present you can give them this holiday season =]
Get a bottle. Fill it with milk and raw eggs. Close the bottle and shake it. Wake till a week later. When that week has arrived, spill it on their clothes. To 'seal' the present, spit on their clothes and voila! Always works well ;D

I'm the middle child but i think I get what I want more then my sister or brother. I do have better grades then them, and I'm the only one who hasn't been grounded, and I'm pretty good at convincing my mom to take us places.

man my little brother sucks. me and all my other siblings get along well. it's just my little brother. like i look at the stuff he has compared to the stuff i had. man i was lucky if i had clothes for a day. he has every thing. he even has 4 bikes. i don't know y he needs that many but he does. like for me to get a new bike i had to pay for it. so in my whole life i only had one new bike. and even that he took. and then he steals all my clothes that i buy for my self cause my parents wont buy them for me. and then he steals all my money. like he stole $40 from me and spent it on some game. and when i told my parents they said just let him have it. they got pissed that i got pissed he stole money from me. so yeah i feel your pain.

well, i don't hate my sister, we're actually really close, but i get jealous of her a lot. she's four years older than me, and soo much prettier... i can't even begin to tell you how annoying it is to hear my guy friends tell me how hot she is. sometimes she seems so perfect that i just want to scream, but i guess i should be happy for her. after all, you shouldn't hate someone because they're beautiful... plus, when i was younger, i was probably how your little sister is now... i went through my sister's stuff, i got more attention, more stuff.. i was the baby of the family and my parents made that very obvious. your sister is still young, hopefully she'll grow up, mature, and you guys can be friends

Negatives:
-She reads my conversations with friends. And when I cuss, she goes and tells my mom and I get in trouble. I mean come on, i'm 13 now...
-She can get annoying, like asking me for help on computer stuff.
