Yeah I know why is a 8th grader so worried about college already, But I only have 4 years but anyway.
so there is this program at USC where during your senior year you are at college for your freshman year, and well i think its a cool idea, but I'm not sure, I mean that is my senior year gone. But I was wondering would anyone else do it?

Sure, why not? If you think you can handle it then go for it. Senior year isn't all that fun, trust me! It's the most stressful year because you don't wanna fail any of your classes.

I skipped a year so I could go to college early, but I rather take a year off. But that's just me because I'm lazy laugh.gif .

If you can make it, go for it. I'll be a junior next year and I'm already looking for colleges. It's never bad to start early.

What's IB?

And no, I'm already in my Junior year. I don't want too much pressure and everything.

hmm . the good thing about going to college early is that u can be done with school for good. and move on have a job and shit. but the bad part is u'll miss all the good memories u will have staying in highschool for 4 years. and u'll miss out on friends =\

I actually AM going to college early. I'm 15(a sophomore), but by the end of this year I'll have all my high school credits, so I'm graduating. I've already got accepted into colleges and all.

Me too.

I'm not smart enough to ever get that chance lol.

But even so, if I was offered.. I might consider it. That would be amazing if I ever got accepted to a college early. I don't have enough credits yet =T

i wouldn't because i'm a senior right now and i kind of still don't feel ready to go to college. if YOU feel ready with the knowledge you have and the experiences you have, then go ahead =) best of luck to you no matter what you choose =)

I'm not going to do anything differently.
I definitely could graduate from high school early and crap because of the math I'm taking, but I think it's good to just go through all of the standard schooling.. it's a benefit, in my opinion.

(I realize you were talking about college, and I was talking about high school. Koff.)

I would say do it but don't forget about your friends that are in your own age group. It is always nice to get ahead but don't forget about living life, you only live once, so don't miss out on the high school and college experience! Don't go crazy and be like 4 years ahead, then you would never experience a lot of things...

I doubt that I would ever want to go to college that early. I mean, I'll barely be 16 years old. That's crazy. I'm sorry but I wouldn't do it. I'd try to enjoy my time in high school and freedom while I still can.
