Which band member do you usually notice?

Say, for instance, you're watching a video of a concert. What instrument attracts you?

Being a bassist, I naturally pay more attention to the bass work. I feel, however, that guitarist and vocalist will get the most votes. rolleyes.gif

i pay attention to the bass players the most but i notice the other band members too.

I think I generallt notice the lead singer first, then the drummer. But I guess it really depends on the band and the set up on stage.

well if it's a music video it'll constantly be focusing on the singer.

but at shows i tend to watch the guitarist, unless their's a keyboardist.

the lead singer, most defintely. it's just like..i like knowing what they are singing so i tend to focus on them the most. it's weird.

Actually, especially after looking at this topic, the bassist gets the least amount of attention. And no one gives us any respect. :\

naturally the lead singer because they usually get shown the most (like if it's on TV or something) but I usually notice the guitarist too, or the drummer. They should get their attention by their talent and not just their looks wacko.gif

i love them all. i take equal looks at each member. but uh i am a guitarist so i probably look at the electric guitraist the most. but mostly only when theyre on solo. cuz the drummer always gets my attention.

well... Cause i'm learning the guitar... I like to watch how they play... and cause i sing, i would look at the lead singer... but i also try to do that drum thing with the drumsticks, so i like watching drummers, guitars, and the singer person...

Who ever is playing the guitar, vocals, or piano work. Seriously. But, I do pay a lot of attention to the drummer and the bassist, cos the songs aren't the songs with out them! It just depends on the band, too. I coulf totally hate the vocals, but if it sounds good with the guitars (I LOVE ACUSTIC!) or something like that, I'll listen.

Well, I usually notice the lead singer the most since he/she is in the front.
