[Oogie Oogie man]

I hate div tags!! arggh! ok, is there a way to put a background image inside a div. I've been trying for the past three hours without any success. I went to one of the tutorials in here and it said to put this: layer-background-image: url (something.gif). I tried doing that but nothing happened.

[U]WHAT TO EDIT:
ALIGN : Box horizontal position (left, center, right)
VALIGN : Box vertical position (top, middle, bottom)
BORDER : Border properties on each side of the box. (Color Width Style)
FILTER : Transparency of the box (Percent)
HEIGHT/WIDTH : Height and Width (If pixels leave plain, if percent follow with %)
BACKGROUND-COLOR : Color of the background (Hex Value)[/U]
