Yeah--part of the 'story' that I'm writing...I have more written out by hand, but awhile ago I typed this part up. Comment please, and give me critisism. I live for it.

For so many years, I thought I could be considered normal. I never really 'fit in,' but that didn't matter. The friends I had didn't either and they didn't mind that I was the wierdest of them all. I had a normal family too: my mom, my dad, and my sister. Yeah, I was as plain, simple and normal as it got. That was until my freshmen year in highschool. I desperatly wanted to be apart of another crowd, wanted a boyfriend, and so many other things. In the most baisic sense, I wanted to live on the wild side and have a more exciting life. I guess you get what you wish for. We'll probably just have to start at the beginging of the non-normalacy.

It was a Monday like all others. I hit the snooze button on my alarm clock 5 times in total until my mom was pounding my bedroom door down. I only had 15 minutes to get ready, shit. I threw on something from my bedroom floor that smelled clean, grabbed my text books and ran out the door. Luckily, I made it to the bus stop on time.

I fell asleep in my first two classes. The teachers didn't really notice because I usually kept quiet and sat in the back of the classroom. I survived my next two classes and made it to lunch. I got my usual sandwich and sat down with my friends at our usual table. There were 8 girls on total. Sitting closest to me were Janet, Dana, and Merissa, all of whom I had been friends with since the beginning of middle school. We knew everything there ever was to know about each other and had a movie night every month without fail. Then there was, Jacky, who I had met and became close with during the volleyball season at the beginning of the year. Next to her was May, who was short, alway dressed in black. She also stalked a junior who she though looked like the lead singer of her favorite band, the Delivery Service. Then farther down, there was Anah and June, who were both very good artists and obsessive about Japanese manga. Then there was me, dressed in some black baggy pants and a pink tank top, the result of rushing. I finished my lunch and had an urge to walk around. I excused myself and went to the bathroom, purposly taking the long way.

There was a group of people that didn't sit in the cafeteria, but in the hallway next to it. I guess you could just call it a mix of punks, goths, skaters, ravers and anyone else who didn't fit in. But the secret was, I wanted to be a part of this group. Don't ask why it was a desire of mine, it just was. Maybe it was my love of the same kind of music as some of them, or my way of not conforming. And yeah, I also guess cause I had a crush on a guy from that group, Gus. He had long hair, about shoulder length, and fox like features, like his often worn FOX racing hoodie.

The bathroom was empty and hevily smelled of cigarette smoke, nothing was new. Ads for clubs and activites, hate notes and I <3 John B. polluted the walls. I forgot why I came here. I didn't have to pee, my hair looked fine and I didn't wear makeup. I walked back to the cafeteria, taking the same route as before.

By the time I got back to my table, the bell had rung. I grabbed my bag, said 'see yah later,' to everyone and headed to my English class.

Sounds pretty good, but you might want to go through and spell/grammar-check.
