hey i know this might sound kinda dumb but does n e 1 know like any like acting agencies or something... like real ones... or singing agencies.. i love to sing and act but every place i find my mom thinks are a scam or something...does n e 1 know n e ?

You gotta be careful. When i first wanted to get into acting, i ran into SO many scams. You can go to a recording studio, and maybe send a CD to a legitimate record company?

Yeah.
There are a lot of scams. There's this one.. "academie" whatever. I don't know if it's local, or national. |

i am in the school choir an di have a friend named stephen he sooo good at singing and has a contractor!!! i asked him if i sang good and he was like " ou have talent im gonna have you come over to sing for my contractor " i was like OMG YAY
 i havent went yet, but i cant wait... try to get the number of a contractor through your school's choir teacher

oh i so wish i knew a good talent agency or something..i've been looking forever for some recording studio or something..lol my friends are actually gonna help me (i'm making a little secret band..lol)

well, I know one NOT[U] to go to. John Robert Powers. Its a sma. The people may be nice, but theybtake your money like its candy. they charge to much, and pay too little. i tried out, and even made it, but my parents wouldnt let me in cuz they knew people who worked with them...
 lol.

yea i tried our for John Robert Powers.. well.. signed up for them at least and they called me and they are liek really nice but my mom won't let me go bcause she thinks its a scam and stuff... im just really mad because its hard to tell wut is and isnt a scam these days... all i want to do is like act and sing and stuff...

oh man, yah i looked into that stuff. i want to be an actress...like on broadway or in the movies. but most of them actually were scams...the best you can do, is just fill up your schedules with bunches of plays and stuff...and get headshots and stuff and get alot of plays and such so you can put them down when they ask what you been in. Alot of my friends are in this agency for kids called "the talent machine" it's really good, but i dunno if it's just in maryland or what...you should look into it, and if not that, then just wait for agents to come to you...they usually do when you start performing or singing on a higher level

the best way to get into these things is through personal connections, talk to people, and expand your network of connections. Let people know that you're looking to become a singer/actor/whatever. It's important to find an agent that you can trust, and is thinking in your best interests. Good luck!

you have to find out yourself and call them. look in the magazines and stuff.
