It's okay. I'm not feeling the big white space to the right and your text is somewhat hard to read because it's white on a light background. You should make it black or something. Other than that, nice job on your first layout.

maybe make the scroll bar for the blog transparent so it doesn't stand out that much... um... What font did you used for the navigation? it looks really cool! =)

And the font I used was Dark Crystal Script and I got it from dafont.com |
