ok.. a lot of times i can't get myself to do what im supposed to do like.. to study. and i try to force myself to read some book and i just can't focus on it and i think about other stuff.. how do i get myself to concentrate and to achieve my goals??

But sometimes even if you're in a non-distracting place you still can't concentrate because something else is on your mind and you automatically think about that. You know what I mean?
Maybe if you hear yourself read out loud you can concentrate better...? Not really reading out loud..but quietly so you can hear yourself... I don't know how to say it..nevermind. |

i always think to myself, I can't get on the computer, watch tv, talk on the phone, until i get my homework done. It really helps!

trust me it works. but try n work with a friend that you know would stop u from being distracted n help u study

i lock myself up. somewhere quiet... like a closet. it's easier to concentrate without electronics around to distract you. once i get into studying, i can go for hours.

I have the same problems some times, concentrating and focusing on what I should be doing. Just keep your goals in mind, it gets hard sometimes, but you have to strive to focus as much as you can, and know that what you're doing, even though it may be boring at times, is going to help you in the long run.

lol that happens to me ALOT. what i do, is i just say "okay, am i just gonna keep procrastinating??" even if it's at the last minute, go somewhere quiet and start doing what you need to. once you get to a certain pace you can keep going and going till ur done

the advices r really great, but i can't read outloud cuz i donno wat i m doin when i read outloud and i can't think.. and um.. about the library thing, i dont go to the library and its hard for me to keep it down and when i m tryin to study at a public place i turn my attention to my appearance. my mom can't hit me with a spatula cuz we dont have one.. and i dont really have my own room or at least there isnt' a desk in it, and if i study on my bed my mom ll chase me out and say that i m brinin germs ontot he bed....
