Heyy, I trying to play some of my music and it wasn't working - I then noticed that all 800 something of the songs I had downloaded onto my computer were somehow deleted completely.
Does anyone know of a band that is sooooo awesome AND no one knows about? What I am trying to say is, do you know any bands or singers that you think are really good and also a band that no one is familliar with? They can be old or new. |

Pennington (www.purevolume.com/pennington)
Augustana (www.purevolume.com/Augustana) Sleeping at Last (www.purevolume.com/sleepingatlast) The Gamits (www.purevolume.com/thegamits) Ben Folds (www.benfolds.com) Frank Sinatra The Beatles Motion City Soundtrack (www.motioncitysoundtrack.com) Dire Straits Bruce Springsteen (www.brucespringsteen.com) Cheap Trick (www.cheaptrick.com) The Gamits recently broke up and Pennington, Augustana, and Sleeping at Last are really the only ones with very few fans. |

I guess you can try Relient K. [http://www.purevolume.com/relientk] I'm not sure if they're popular or not, but they're still good.

I know hundreds of underground bands, but all of its metal, and most of it is too heavy for most of the people here, especially if you like crap like fall out boy.

purevolume's the best place to look for good local bands!
if you're into punk, get social code (www.socialcodemusic.com). theyre my new favorite band. haha. find them in kazaa or winmx or something and if you're into acoustics, i'd say aaron hale (http://www.purevolume.com/aaronhale) and emo/acoustic.. daphne loves derby (http://www.purevolume.com/daphnelovesderby) |

QUOTE(insertusername @ Nov 27 2004, 10:20 AM) Depeche Mode depeche mode is AMAZING. - try the rasmus. they're on fuse -&- a few radio stations, but most of the people i mention them to are clueless. - if you're into punk (not pop), try the adolescents. - like someone said before, lola ray is good. - they might be giants are amazing. if ya get in the right places, many people know about them, but they're generally not popular. - jenoah is on drive-thru, if that tells ya anything. - kill hannah is amazing. they're real hard to genre-ize, though. - ambulance ltd is real mellow -&- has a vintage-y sound - americanrockstar (www.americanrockstar.com) - trendy (www.trendypunks.net) - hate dies hard (www.hatedieshard.com) - Zoo Music (www.rochesterpunk.com) - Squires of the Subterrain (www.rochesterpunk.com) - the scissor sisters are kinda annoying, but hardly anybody's heard of em...at least not anybody i know. - simon -&- milo are really weird...they're not like...a real band...but their songs are catchy - the dead milkmen |
