the basics of the basics, i have no idea how to use scripts |

hi im totally clueless. i've just found this site n i'd like to kno how work scripts on my xanga since if we try to save it under scripts, we're required to upgrade to premium. sri it this is a bit of a nuisance--help would be greatly appreciated!
