mods, how do you become one?

How do you become a mod? Does it depend on how many posts you've made? If so, I'm going to make a vow to post at least twenty times a day. pinch.gif

you have to be at least an Official Member before you can become a moderator. Your Average Posts Per Day must be over a 5.0. and your amount of cummulative posts must be over.... 500? i think? or was it 1000? i dont remember the exact standards since i left the staff -_-"

Yeah, which part of the staff do you want to be on?

If you want to be people staff you have to be friendly to other members, moderators, admins.. and contribute a lot.. you must be seen in most every forum. You have to have a lot of posts.. no spamming! :D

If you want to be one of the design or xanga staffs... you have to be active in those forums and show that you know about them. [shrug] I don't know how to explain it.

For any mod job, you have to be friendly and contribute a lot in a... non-spammish way. You must have a lot of posts if you're aiming for people staff, I think.. But I'm not too sure on any of this.
Just guessing. :P

Eh, it's kind of hard to jump from official admin to head staff or admin.. that's more of a promotion? [shrug] I'm not tooooo sure on that one. :]

you cant jump from member to head staff or admin. you must be a moderator first. you become headstaff after showing that you are a good moderator, that can handle all the forums with cool and finesse =P

you become admin if you're special.

rolleyes.gif Do you know how many people there are every day on createBlog? Look at how many moderators there are, and look at the ratio. Not to discourage you, but it's hard to get on the staff when everybody else wants to be on the staff as well.

look in the announcements forum. jusun explains the duties of each staff member, and how to become one.



and yes i left the staff -_-" apparently i cant go back because im not reliable. oh wait, i am now since i put my skins back up, as if that has anything to do with reliability, especially since i actually had reasons to take them down in the first place, but YKNOW. WHATEVER.

i come here when i have free time. even tho i wanna become a mod i just won't be able to be here as much. fridays, saturdays, and sometimes sundays are my free time. i sneek at weekdays.biggrin.gif
