I saw the topic on John Legend and that reminded me of another artist that Kanye ups... Miri Ben-Ari

If you ever bene to a kanye concert, Miri Ben Ari is the "hip hop violinist" who plays the violin during the workout plan, and get em high... also she is the white chick at the beginning of Twista's overnight celebrity video... you might have seen her on 106 & park and rap city on BET... anyways i uploaded some of her music

I saw that Miri performance on "106 and Park" a few years ago and she was just...she's a phenomenal talent. I would love to get a cd of hers, if I could ever find one. I know she's done a couple albums, but they weren't widely received.

But other than Wyclef and Kanye, her original mentor was Wynton Marsalis. That's big.

Yeup I know her. But I didn't know her name was Miri Ben-Ari. Anyways she's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo awesome at playing it! It gived me hecka chills!! I didn't see her on 106 & Park. I saw her somewhere... this other show. Where this one black guy host it. I don't know if they are still running that show, maybe it stopped? Heh, anyways. I saw her other music videos of herself playing another song and OMG she gived me lots of goosebumps!! she was so freaking good!!
