I don't know what to say about this guy... when I first heard 'em rollin' around Kanye during his live performances, I was like, "DAMN, he can sing.... AND he's sick on the piano..." then I heard 'em on Selfish with Slum Village and I was like: "DAMN" again....
Then I'm starting to become a fan little by little. Then I hear I Used to Love U and I'm like: "HOLY MUH'F*CKIN' SHIT!!!" this guys SICKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then I listen to his album and I'm like: "OH MY MUH'F*CKIN' LORD THIS SHIT'S F*CKIN' BONKERS/AMAZING/INGENIOUS/CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT THE F*CK I'M LISTENIN' TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ya'll really have to peep his album.... I think he's dropped my favorite R&B album of all time and he's SOOOOOOOOO soulful with SICK lyrics........ he reminds me of a male Alicia Keys x 1,000,000,000,000... LMFAO.... he's the most soulful artist at the moment, IMO and has teamed up with the most soulful producer (Kanye West)... DAMN, what a tandem Du's SICK!!!! "Let's Get Lifted" (track 2) IS CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so is I Can Change and every other track on this album... A MUST BUY WITHOUT A DOUBT.... CLASSIC, CLASSIC ALBUM.... LMFAO... just felt I needed to stress this and try to get him some listeners cuz he ain't big yet but I think he deserves a lot more fame than he got and I think anyone that hasn't given his album a try is missin' out on a GREAT music artist...
LMFAO yeah, he's a singer/piano player (just like Alicia - damn, so fine) yeah, anyway, chill back with the bullshit 'bout soakin' the panties kid... iss all good though, check his shit out |

Yeah, I've heard "I Used to Love You" on the radio, which is one of my favorite songs out right now along with "You Should Let Me Love You" by Mario.
I saw the video a few times, he seems like an interesting cat... Anyhow, I'll prolly preview the album on the internet first before I buy it since he's a new artist and all. |

i got the album its pretty hot... and live at the knitting factory was really good... but yeah i first saw him at the kanye concerts with miri ben ari...
BTW if you have the kanye west live in amsterdam mixtape (great mixtape), he has this whole 10 minute segment where he does all sorts of stuff... crazy and whne does his album realyl come it.. it kept gettin pushed back.. the leaked versions been out forever also i appreaciate what kanye is doing because he isnt pdiddying john legend (like screaming random things in every one of his songs and stuff) |

Listened to it maybe 4 times today. Loved it. I loooooove old school so you know I love this album cuz you can tell his influences range from gospel music to classic soul. He reminds me more of a male Lauryn Hill than a male Alicia Keys... and I loove his voice. Very smooth, soulful, and sexy.
Stand out tracks: Let's Get Lifted Used To Love U I Can Change (minus Snoop) Ordinary People (MY FAVORITE) Let's Get Lifted Again (mad sexy) So High My only beef is that some of the songs sound like a lil more could be done to them to make them stand out more as much as the others. No complaints here tho. Very good album, definately worth a listen. I look forward to hearing more from him in the future. He's a promising artist. |
