i dont kno if this is where this topic should be but all the voting topics are here.
Dont you see all the commercials that are like vote or die? Well i kno they got millions of more people voting and stuff.. i kno thats great that they got lots more people to vote but did it really help? I mean if the number of people stayed the same from last election ... who would of won? kerry or bush? like they say that they got a lot more 18+ people voting but did they vote wisely .... did the people who never voted at all vote wisely? i mean did it really help getting all of those other votes in... i think it just made the vote closer to a 50/50 it really made this election so close. what i think is that the people who actually cared to vote and actually know what they are voting for make the wise disicions. but what do you think about getting all those other votes in? did they help at all? If the number of voters did stay the same who do you think would of won kerry or bush..... lol or nader? |

Voter turnout was staggering. But I think the "Choose or Lose" and "Vote or Die" had less to do with the high turnout than the fact that so many people were concerned with the future of America.
