I lived near a Naval Base, but always wanted to join the Army versus the Navy. Don't know why really. Overall I would probably go Air Force, but that's not an option.

Navy is bad ass though.

Awesome.

I'm a coward. I'd rather sit in a ship, thousands of miles from the action, lobbing artillery shells from 18" guns or firing cruise missiles from 500 miles away.

But some people do like to get up close, drive tanks, use strategies.

P.S. My grandfather was in the Navy during WWII.

I would be in the Army...
One reason why is because I am in Army JROTC
Another reason why is because I don't want to be a Jarhead(Marine), Sit behind desks(Air Force), or hide in ships(Navy).

^ The Marines operate side by side with the Navy. They're their own branches of the military but they somewhat work together.
