omg omg my jaw hurts ommmgggg i cant even open my mouth...and im hungry and i wanna eat and i have to sit in this class for another hour and a half and ommmggggggggggggg

i think ive just been so stressed out.. especially last night.. that when i sleep, i grind my teeth, and so when i wake up i have a killer ache.. its even making the entire left side of my head/face hurt.

na uuh!!!!...... u grind your teeth when u sleep?... wow my brother does that too... its an annoying sound.. i heard that it is a chronic habit...

You grind your teeth too when you're stressed? I do and that's why my dentist prescribed me my night guard. wink.gif

well im home now. i threw up. thats how bad the pain was.. i had to puke.. but i took a really hot bath and that seemed to help a lot.. but i cried too.. like.. the minute i stepped into the car i was like crying and telling my dad to hurry the f*ck home

ahh..i had lock jaw before..hurts sooo much because there is no way you can open your mouth completely and you can't eat or anything=(

that happened to my brother before. he used to grind his teeth so badly, that his nerves would stick out from the bottom of his tooth.

wow -=\ i've never had lockjaw, but it sounds grueling ;o i've had stiff neck though... lock jaw's probably worse than that huh ;o i think i just jinxed myself... watch me have lock jaw soon ;o

that happens me all the time. i went to the dentist and i had to wear this thing that helped make my jaw in not pop. but it still hurts from time to time. i feel your pain! happy.gif

and i can't believe that you threw up. it must of really hurt! i would do anything to help prevent me from throwing up! wacko.gif

I grind my teeth when I sleep, too. I have a night guard for my teeth so it doesn't damage my teeth.

My jaw hurts when I run...why?!

stress is what causes lockjaw. when you're stressed out you have more of a tendancy to grind your teeth at night - especially if you've been crying. this causes TMJ. TMJ causes lock jaw.
