my fourth poem on here...written on a whim. another older one. still no recent ones written yet.
 anyways, enjoy. constructive criticism appreciated, thank you.me by stephinika. Me You ask "And who is me supposed to be?" I'm not sure if even I can answer that. I think I know me But in reality I don't, I know only an image of me that I put out to the world. But I now see that it hides my true self, Even to me. You may think you know me, You see me, You speak to me, But all you truly believe to be, It's only what I want you to see, What I want everyone to know, But I never knew I was this good. It scares me. Me I don't think I can really use that word now. Everyone thinks I am what I'm not Because I want them to. They all think I'm so innocent, Innocence doesn't exist. I don't exist, I think that it's all in my head. Am I even alive? My body is functioning But inside I am already dead. Me Its not all its cracked up to be. |

Sounds like an awesome monologue.
I like it a lot. I'd love for something like this to be in a script, and act it out. Even more so, because I can relate. Well done. |
