i've been thinking if i should keep or dump one of my best friends. we've been friends since the beginning of last year... but knew each other since 6th grade. we were always together and hanging out. but she has changed alot this year! she started hanging out with these girls that my other friends dont like. she's become more stuck up IMO. we only have last period together and it seems like she never cares about anything else but her "other friends". Also recently she broke up with her boyfriend and im friends with him... tuesday she saw him hand me what looked like to her a note, but really it was science notes that he folded. she automatically assumed that something was going on between us and we're juss friends! she got pissed and wouldnt talk to me all day but then the next day she was herself and pretended like nothing happened. i guess its one of her mood swings?

Anyways to make a long story short, she wasnt the kind of friend i had before. Should i stay friends with her or juss gradually not talk to her anymore?

well you know u cant really be friends with someone u cant really bond with or enjoy spending time with. If shes being a stuck up bitch who jumps to conclusion about little things...um .. I dont think it will work out :-/

Hmm.
I think that maybe you should talk to her about how you feel.
Tell her virtually everything that you said to us.
If she's a good friend, she'll understand and try and change a bit to how she used to be.
If she's not a good friend, she'll just turn it all against you and say that you did everything wrong.

If she does the good friend thing, then I'd keep her.
If she does the bad friend thing, then I'd just kinda stop being her friend.

O gosh This happened to me last year, sorta.

Well, i had this friend for like, 5 months. Then she started getting all preppy and stuff and she just made like, new friends...

And we just got mad at her on and off...

And then one day, we just.. weren't friends anymore.

I mean, i don't really care. But in a way, I do. Cause she's friends with most of my friends. but i mean, she just made new friends

So to your problem, I would just wait a while, and then if things don't work out, then make new friends.
